New colours French Grey and Winter White give a softer look than the Graphite and White previously available from this Queen of Couture Linen, Bella Notte.  Hailing from San Francisco, these linens are spectacularly well made and will last a lifetime if given the correct treatment, moreover they are easy care so you can put away the spray starch and iron because these are meant to look relaxed and gently crumpled, inviting you to cosy up amongst the cushions.

I love the way all the textures work so well together, the meltingly delicate silk and velvet throw over a rustic Linen counterpart, a touch of silk and chiffon in a boudoir pillow, some effortless ruching in the self-patterned Penelope pillows and a simple binding together with Linen pillows and duvet cover.  Mixed with Pebble, as in these pictures, it’s a perfect colour combination against a neutral background, you can almost feel the cool breeze wafting in through pale linen curtains on a Summer day. But these colours work just as well in monochrome against a pure white or dark scheme, or with a splash of the richer  Pacific to make it pop or a vintage shade such as Heirloom Rose for a hint of old fashioned glamour.

But don’t just take my word for it, come in and have a look!
