Upon visiting Landford Stone it soon becomes apparent that this modest business situated in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside has ambitions far bigger than the granite and marble slabs that adorned the outdoor showroom.
As you gaze in wonder at their colossal library of stone you’d be forgiven in thinking that choosing the right stone would be anything but easy – but as it turns out it is. Their incredible Teltos Select Range – which is their biggest seller in Quartz and backed by a 15 year warranty – has colours selected by kitchen companies from around the South. Teltos Quartz was introduced two years ago and has been more successful than Landford Stone could have ever imagined. It’s fast becoming a well known Quartz brand rivalling the monoliths of Silestone and Caesarstone. Working directly with the Teltos factory has also meant Landford Stone have been able to offer great price savings too.
In recent years Landford Stone have worked on many new builds with architects at the forefront of design, pushing the boundaries of stone, looking to envelope new ways to astonish. Landford Stones’ reputation has taken them to private yachts and homes all across the United Kingdom. This would include restoration work on grade listed manors and stately homes, sourcing materials that were used hundred’s of years ago. One such project was a stunning property in Sandbanks that won the prestigious ‘International Design and Architecture’ award.
Landford Stone were responsible for all the stone work within the property including the kitchen, swimming pool, wet rooms, bathrooms, floors and steps. Woadden Nash were the designers of the property and Landford Stone were extremely proud to be their chosen stone supplier and installer.
Going forward into the new year it’s hard not to look back on the superb year Landford Stone has had – not only has their work been showcased internationally, but in 2015 they won Business of the Year in two categories. Such accolades have not only emphasised how much Landford Stone stand out from their competitors but show all the kitchen companies they work with and their private customers that they really are the best around.
All the hard work they put into sourcing materials from the quarries around the world, before being templated for kitchens, floors and walls to ensuring that their customers have the perfect end result is truly remarkable and a testament to their character.
So what does the future hold for Landford Stone? Well, like their ambitions, they’re also planning to expand on staff, new machinery and to increase the number of fits they do a day from 6 to around 8. Not only that, they are cementing plans to work closer with their existing kitchen companies to expand the united brand across the United Kingdom.
From the outside, it looks like their future is set in stone.

Our production department produce some beautiful work, including many different edge details, samples of which we have on display. Our workmanship is second to none and the quality of a Landford Stone installation sets us apart from all the other fabricators. We are proud to say “we are the best”.
Once your kitchen or bathroom has been installed, our templaters will visit and make a template of the worktops required. Usually, Five working days after the templating date, the worktops will be installed. With some of the materials, we ask that the client revisits and inspects the templates on the stone prior to manufacture, in order to agree the positioning of veining and cut outs. All finished work is sealed in the factory prior to despatch and will be sealed again by the fitting team upon installation. All our work is quality controlled and you can have total confidence in the long term attention you will receive, in the unlikely event of a problem with the material.
After the installation you will be given a care sheet and if appropriate, a care pack.
