The Ridgeway Group were Winner of the Motor Trader “Dealer Group of the Year Award” 2012 and during the past year in which The Ridgeway Group have been a ‘Business Member’ of The Vintage Magazine, their business has continued to grow.
In May 2013 the Group extended its SKODA reach into Newbury, opening Ridgeway SKODA Newbury, and on the 30th May 2013 Ridgeway made its first foray into the Land Rover and Range Rover brands by acquiring the site located in Cumnor (A420), Oxford.
A month later, on the 29th June 2013 the Ridgeway Group was once again on the acquisition trail by purchasing the Jaguar site located on Cumnor Hill, Cumnor, Oxford from Sytner Group Limited for an undisclosed sum. This purchase also included Ridgeway Select – a premium used car centre and Ridgeway Saab – an Authorised Saab Service Centre.
On the 5th October 2013 saw another addition to the Ridgeway portfolio – with a second Ridgeway Select site opening on the Faraday Road in Newbury. The remainder of 2013 will see the Used Car Centres in Portsmouth and Southampton rebranded under the Ridgeway Select name too.
Hot on the heels of summer purchases of SKODA Newbury and the Land Rover and Jaguar franchises in Oxford, the Ridgeway Group, have strengthened and extended their brand reach by acquiring Parkview SKODA in Reading for an undisclosed sum from PJA Trading Ltd.
